Sujita Lamichhane

Sujita Lamichhane was born in Silgari, Doti District, far western region of Nepal. She had primary education in a local school of Silgari, Doti and moved to Kathmandu for further school studies. She has completed her SLC from Laboratory Boarding High School, Kirtipur, Kathmandu in 1988. She has completed her Intermediate of Science from Trichanda College, Tribhuvan University.

After her Intermediate of science, she joined Delhi University in New Delhi, India for her Bachelor in Commerce. Her diversity in education doesn’t stop here. After completing Bachelor in Commerce, she changed her major to Social studies. She joined Mother Teresa Women’s University in Tamil Nadu for her master in Social studies. During her social studies at Mother Teresa Women’s University she has attended three International social programmes in Europe and Asia. Due to her hard work, dedication and commitment towards study, Mother Teresa Women’s University have offered her scholarship to further her study in her chosen subject.  She has selected Buddhist culture for her further study and moved to Sri Lanka to complete Ph. D. in Buddhist Culture.

Her life at WNSO began here. While she was studying in Sri Lanka, she joined WNSO in year 2000. She has led the group of Nepalese students from Sri Lanka to form WNSO Sri Lanka. She has contributed heavily in WNSO and has always stood side by side for WNSO from WNSO’s critical days to hey days. She is a member of chautari board and has promised to be with WNSO for rest of her life. WNSO have benefited from her experienced of organisation skill, diversity of education, leadership quality and friendly manner.
